HTTP = Hyper Text Transfer Protocol = send packets in plain text = not secure.

HTTPS = HTTP Secure = HTTP over SSL or TLS = packets are encrypted = secure.

SSL/TLS = Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security = the crypto protocol which HTTPS uses.

Encryption is great and all, but anyone with money these days can simply buy certs! If you don’t what I’m talking about then trust me, you don’t even want to know what kind of mad house the net has become.

Https is definitely 100 % better because it provides extra security as internet these days has become a very unsecure place with a 14 year kid playing with code to experts hackers ..https helps encrypt data when it is transferred through internet with ssl only the server where the information is sent can understand the data and no other can
